Congratulations Coach!!!
The Perkins family has received some exciting news! Jerry was recently notified that he would be inducted into the Maine Sports Hall of Fame. He will join 242 former outstanding Maine Sports figures that have been inducted over the last thirty-two years.
Needless to say, our family is very proud of Jerry's athletic achievements. However, we realize that without the support and dedication of so many others: administrators, assistant coaches, athletes, boosters, fans, families, friends, and colleagues...these achievements would not have been possible.
There will be an induction banquet at the Italian Heritage Center, 40 Westland Avenue, Portland, Maine, Sunday, June 1, 2008. A social hour will begin at 12:00 noon, with dinner following. The induction ceremony and recognition for Jerry's 34 years of coaching will be exciting, but the opportunity to visit with those of you able to attend would make the day treasured.

There is limited seating available, and I have been asked by the Hall of Fame Committee for an estimated number of attendees.
